Hey Everyone, long time lurker, first time poster here. All the works here are so inspiring, I have stolen some great ideas from you all here. I've often had a problem completing kits - I get them about 80% of what I want and then lose steam. But not here, not now! Here are some pictures of my Star Wars, Rogue One U-Wing build up of the Revell ~1/100 Easy Kit. It comes from the factory painted with lights and sounds. I can't tell you how many times I hit that stupid actuator button and had to sit through the cheesy laser beam pew pew sounds and the hyperdive ignition when trying to focus on detailing the this. Yet, I digress, the original for some unknown reason came missing the rear radiator baffles seen on the CGI prop. But I was able to find some on Shapeways at https://www.shapeways.com/product/Z8NQ7PKAV/u-wing-radiator?optionId=70606139&li=marketplace which really beefed up the look. Also, I added some corrugated pla plate to cover up the ugly speaker hole and battery access hatch on the bottom of the kit. Further, I decided to add some splinter camo and grime it up. I hope you like it. C&C welcome. Enjoy!
