Nice kit this, very basic though, not entirely acurate, but fun to build, and not to bad a result in the end. Learned a lot. Like, dont build 5 models at a time and expect not to get distracted...

Thanks! it was a lot fo fun. except the sploshing of the sand effect thingy. that took ages to clean up haha

Hello FOW, and welcome to the forum.

Nice build. I like that it is dirty but not overly trashed. I recently build a tank, my first one,as you know... I found it rather difficult not to overdo the weathering, so that is defenatley a point to remember for my part, on the next build.

Anyway, any words on how you went about modeling this thing, any new things you tried out, like painting it all on the sprue?! Joke!

You mentioned the nonskid surface as particularly troublesome... Anything you like to share?

i dindt realy weather it all all, except drybrush the edges qith a beige-y colour mixed from the IDF sand colour and a drop of white, then the sploshy wet effects using humbrol sand wash and a paintbrush and coctail stick to flick it. Looking back i should have done more, but i reasoned, probably incorrectly, that a desert tank probably wouldnt be that weathered.

Also i had 4 other kits on the go and just wanted to get it off the production line if im honest, so probably hurried it a bit more than i would normally.
