Managed to get a fair bit done tonight which was unexpected but most gratifying. Pantherman

I've been waiting for my razor saw to get here so I can cut out that little notch in the aileron. But the delivery has been pushed back. It was supposed to already be here.
Maybe it will be here soon.

I cannot do to much about it. I'm at work right now.
Then the weekend I'll be working in from 7.00am to 10.00pm both Sat and Sun. 27 hours in 2 days. Hoping the heat will keep people inside.
I'm looking forward to getting back to working on that pinky.

Thanks, so far so good this Saturday afternoon. Right now it's well over 100° and no rain in sight for several days. Blaaahh.

It's pouring with rain here so unfortunately I can't do the weeding this afternoon. So now I will just have to build some more Spitfire. The wife is not happy but what can I do !!!!!

Almost finished the build, just a few bits to add and the canopy to sort. Cleaned it down and primed. Next will be aluminium base coat, hairspray and pre shading.

I've got some catching g up to do when Monday comes.

I'll be on my own when I get home tonight.
Christi went to Waco today to visit her parents. She'll be back later this evening. The oldest would've gone too, but she has an oil & gas networking event in Galveston, so she'll be late with her event.
And I'm working... something very wrong with that picture. haha!

Aluminium base coat done so now brushing hairspray on wear points ready for weathering later. Pantherman
 
I'll need to do touch-points for wear areas.
I bought some AK Worn Effects. I've done a few tests and it seemed to do really well. Usually I use the sponge technique. Which works OK for me. So, I thought I'd give this a go.

I only tried the hairspray method once and that was on the P-38. It turned out pretty good.

Well, brother, it's looking really good!
I'll be back on mine tomorrow.

I'm only going in for a couple of hours. My pain has been really bad these last few days.
Then I can devote some quality hours to the build.
