Love making this , I have only done the little starter kits before, few problems along the way the cocpit snapped when masking but managed to glue it together, and wheels were a challenge but all good for now

It looks nice. Been thinking about getting more of the bomber kits in 1/72 myself.

Airfix announced release of a new-tool B-24 kit, this spring. It looks nice, though it also looks a little pricey for me. But still, a nice kit.

I saw the Airfix range announcement and was surprised at the new B-24. Looking forward to that one.

I saw an old Airfix B-24J on eBay this morning, a recent or the latest boxing, but it's the old tooling. And it made me think that I may just get the new kit when it comes out, to compare it to the old one. It's a bit of an expensive experiment, but, that's why it's called disposable income!
The old kit, second-hand, was offered around $12 as an opening bid, by the way. I wonder if it's still on retail shelves and what retailers are asking for it.
