I finished this one up a month or so ago. This is the new tool from Revell. I have seen reviews where some folks have been whining about the fit of the engine nacelles and other spots. All I have to say is, then you didnt take your time. I had ZERO fit issues putting them together. Are they a tad over engineered? Maybe. But They come out looking perfect IF you take a bit of time and make sure everything is lined up just right. The wing to fuselage join is just fine. Barely needed any filler there. Was almost perfect.
I used flat black out of a rattle can for the base color. Then Revell Anthracite Gray misted randomly to vary the color some. Then a cheap makeup pallet from the dollar store to do the streaking. This is the exact plane that sits in Udvar Hazy in VA. I have been there many times. I did the weathering based on it.
