Take your time is the key

I've yet to scribe a line that is meant to be seen...

Reminds me of the universal RULE of sharp edges, whether in the kitchen, the carpentry shop or the modeler's bench:
Let the tool do the work!

Working on all the small parts and the prop and just sanding and put in a little bit getting ready for paint. I have a patriot 105 with the 5 needle and I ordered the fine needle. I bet you I ordered that thing 3 weeks ago. I still got a week to go before I get it so the camo is going to wait

So. I'm working on my prop deciding how I'm going to spray it blah blah and my wife says breakfast is ready. Oh good I'm hungry. So I'm eating breakfast at my workbench and 2 minutes later my wife comes up to me and says is this something you need? Oh crap. Let me tell you German Shepherds are sneaky

I have an email into ZM let's see what happens with it but heck another coat maybe and I think that'll work
Send them a picture of your pups looking guilty. It might help.

I emailed Meng many months ago about spare parts and they just sent me one. Hope to hear ZM is similar, even at (a reasonable) cost.

Wow , the Yen has really tanked .
Lucky you , that's only 36 bucks these days

Yeah, lucky me. You know? If they would have said we will send you sprue f for free but you got to pay postage I would have went for that. For the simple fact that sprue F has a lot of good stuff on it besides just a propeller. But nope. Heck I can take that 36 bucks and go get a complete model at Andy's. Or about six bottles of Tamia paint or..

Well … it's not as if it was their fault, of course. From their perspective, you're basically asking to buy a separate sprue from them. Though ¥3600 seems a bit much — I don't know how large that sprue is, but from Asuka you can get six or seven 1:35 scale Sherman sprues for that kind of money.
