Song currently stuck in your head?

Do you speak Arabic? There's a LOT of songs synonymous with the 'Nam. "Fortunate Son" is probably my #1, but could be argued out of it by many of these: "We gotta get out of this Place" "For What it is Worth" Edwin Star's "War" "Paint it Black" Country Joe and the Fish's "Vietnam Song" "Hey Hey...

    Zoukei-mura 1/32 Fw 190 A-4

Rob & Dave are both right. Close is perfect! IIRC, particularly in 1945, there were active duty aircraft flying combat with unpainted patch panels, it even came to attaching major components of two broken planes into one. To be honest this was surprising considering the the factories made more...

    Bandit rides again

That hat in the passenger seat really makes the deal! I got outta HS in 1982, the kids that didn't have Z28s had a Trans Am, with the screaming chicken of course.

Those landing gear are insanely good! You nailed the RLM02 in my opinion as well. I think that gap at the leading edge of the wing can be covered, with patience.

    Meng 1/35 Panther-D (Early Sd.Kfz.171) #TS-038

"232" is included in the kit, and it has those wooden storage boxes on elevated brackets, and the ladder as shown in your pictures too.

My dude, you are a walking and talking (or watching A&E) machine! The tank they modelled this after (according to the included text) is at Bovington, or Boddington I think is correct. But those supports were not shown in my Squadron "Walk-Around" book.

    Democracy by Force

Ahh yes, I know of Gundam (largest growing segment of the hobby I think), I didn't know about the other term. Why the two words, is there are variance of some kind?

    Meng 1/35 Panther-D (Early Sd.Kfz.171) #TS-038

The part that inserts into the hull had a notch or cam to place it correctly, no torsion bar that reaches across. But the parts are small and thin which allows the movement up and down (which I think is intended) or wobble (as in toe-in or toe-out) which is bad and would fail my build in a show...

Airfix Supermarine Walrus ejector pin mark help

I think Jakko nailed the answer, not that it is what you wanted to hear, but that is the best solution. A tool like this will make the smoothing faster and easier. Those colored shapes in the lower-right are adhesive sandpaper in various grits, they adhere to the various tips that are also...

    USN F14-A 1/72 from Academy

That Tomcat kit had three sprues, I've never built a 1/72 aircraft before but that is high. I've built 1/48 Tamiya planes that had 2 sprues. So it seems to be quite complex for a little guy.

    Meng 1/35 Panther-D (Early Sd.Kfz.171) #TS-038

I've never built a Panther before, chose this one to break that streak. I knew it after the fact, but at time of purchase I was thinking the A-model was early D was intermediate and G was late-war. Oh well. The kit is really nice overall, biggest complaint is the tracks. I do not mind having...
