Thanks for the kind words Quaralane and Peza!
I have the majority of the parts together. I need to clean up a little light pollution, but all in all, I'm happy with the progress so far.
Thanks for the comments guys!
Here's the engine grill weathered to resemble discoloration, and rust from extreme heat. I sprayed the grill with a dark grey. Then I used the hairspray and rock salt technique and sprayed the base coat on.
Then I weathered the entire piece with Vallejo Pigments...
If I do tell, then the magic ceases to work, the Mayan calander comes into effect and then we're all doomed.
Actually, it's the same technique that I used for the cockpit lights.
Thanks gents!
I just finished building the control yokes for the gunner station chairs. I'll get the entire piece painted up and glued to the proper place some time today.
Thanks for the comments guys, and sorry that I'm late in replying to them.
Some more work to the 144 Falcon. I have all my engine nozzles in place and the grill cleaned out.
Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, it's about time I painted something on this build. Right now, I'm in the middle of doing some prep work for the lighting, once I have that in, then I can fire up the airbrush again.
