For those of you who use the Vallejo Metallic airbrush colors, do you clear coat before applying decals? The surface is very smooth prior to a top coat.

I want to finish this kit in the natural metal scheme. The box art show red stripes, but the decals are clearly orange. Does anyone know which color is correct for this model?
