    McLaren MP4/4 (1988) Senna in 1/24

Your sequence of paint, clear, decals, clear, wet sand is sound... when knocking down the step between colours be sure to run with the line, otherwise some colour transfer from the red onto the white may cause problems. Enjoying the build progress so far.

How the Flock do you Flock?

I've had good luck masking off everything but the area you want carpeted, then spray paint, and while still wet, sprinkle on my embossing powder. ...yeah it's different than flocking, it's microscopic sized balls, almost, looks more scale correct.....to my eyes Available at most craft stores in...

    Test fitting questions.

white glue, tape, pins, rubber cement, you don't need to dryfit the whole model, just the sub assemblies to see if there are any obstructions to what you are trying to achieve.

Primer, Paint and Clear Coat Questions...

I've used Duplicolor primers and paints for years, never a problem..be careful with the Tamiya panel accent, it does not like enamels!!

    1/12 GT-40 MkII 1966 (Ken Miles version?)

As far as the tires and wheels go..I have had good luck using this technique. Once the wheels have been painted and installed in the tires, apply the decals on a dried bed of clear to avoid silvering, then mask off the wheel and hit it with your favorite dullcoat or matte finish. I do this...

Use a larger price than necessary, and, using an exacto blade, gently cut out what you don't want.
