    Hi folks.

Hi Tom (Stuart from SPAM here Dude) No it was a UK based forum. Nice place, but the owner put it through a major software change that didn't go down very well. I was only a member for a few months but it really has changed the place, not for the better. So a few of the guys jumped ship. I...

Hi all , just joined, been building dioramas all ww2, set in eastern Europe for 7 years. Was on another site but its changed to a different server

What got me was, as someone that had only joined in May with about 700 posts, even I can see it's ripped the guts out of the forum. And, if you think about it. As a supporter you were paying to have full access to the boards. That makes you a paying customer. His 'if you don't like it go away'...

    Hobby Wounds

You'd think so, but a few weeks later I was down the rear fuselage of a DHC Chipmunk doing some riveting and he decided to clear the firewall in the same way - I didn't have a mask on and he gassed me out. He didn't do it again after I offered to adjust his cranium with one of my ball point...

    Old West Models

Airfix did some 'Cowboys' a good while ago - in 1/76 not 1/72 as it says on the box - here in the UK there seems to be a few sets on ebay. And a Fort Indians Cavalry And a Wagon train... Looks like a really fun subject actually - I hope that helped. Cheers!

    Hobby Wounds

Not had a bad hobby injury (yet) but years ago when I was working on a Lycoming some idiot standing on the other-side of it thought it would be a great idea to clean it with air powered spray gun full of AvGas. I had face full of it and in both eyes - man that hurt.

    Quick Question for the mods.

Hi Mods. Apologies for the newbie question/mistake. After I signed up I posted a thread in the 'Introductions' bit, which said it had gone into moderation. This is before I read the 'Read Me' and realised I had to post on at least three current threads before I could create my own as a spammer...

Well I'm a sucker for a new forum and this bunch seem decent. I do like the layout as well which helps. I did see your message over on the other place, apologies, I hadn't had a chance to reply to it.

Thoughts on Aeromaster and Microscale decals

If there are any spare decals on the sheet you have (assuming you've purchased one), you could always use one on a test build or just a piece of plastic before you commit the decals to your model - that way you'll get a idea of how well they work.

Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II - Tamiya 1:72

A stunning bit of cockpit work that!

    Tamiya P-38J "Marge" (#123)

Really nice looking build. I have this kit kicking around in the stash - I think I started painting up the cockpit about two years ago and kind of forgot about it - I really must pick it up again.
