Ya, box says over 1850 parts. I found this book to be a great help. The author spent three years building the same kit, and documents the journey. He fixed what Trumpeter got wrong and scratch built what was left out. I didn't go down that rabbit hole as deep, but did scratch build a few things in my skill zone [ATTACH=full]115474[/ATTACH]

I would recommend this book to anybody building a King Tiger,  no matter scale or maker,  an excellent resource.
