Did the master for this one a while back....(master in progress links)
BUT I finally got the preview kits from JPG. He'll be producing them and hopefully releasing a batch at WF this year. I’m pretty beamin’ happy with the results. The fit for all the parts is spot on, the detail is EXACTLY what was on the master. Jimi even used a new sample batch of resin that is really easy to work with. SO, I’m doing a little preview buildup dio for display at Wonderfest. The stand is from ModelBaseGuy and MicroMask is being used to highlight the insignia. I’ll try and get the base coat on these bad boys over the weekend.
Also, while these guys are hollow to allow for lighting, I will not be putting any LEDs in them….THIS time. Once another batch comes my way I’ll probably turn some tricks on it. You know how I love to light little things up…Without further ado:
Also got the base coat and some wash on. The paint job is pretty straight forward for the most part. It's weathering and battle damage that will bring out the character. I might have some extra window decals in my stash to add, too. It does need some for the sides...
Oh yeah, and I have a little bit of tweaking to do on the Outbound Flight rigging files then they should be ready to print then cast! Woot!
