1/4222 Interdictor/Enforcer MASTER (PIC HEAVY!!)

For those of you who haven't seen my thread over @ SSM...

I'm working on a 1/4222 Interdictor/Enforcer master. The kit will have parts for either variant; domes for the Interdictor, turrets for the Enforcer. Aiming for a Wonderfest release, too. Will be produced by JPG castings.

I'm not up on SW kit scales - 4222 is in scale with what? What's 2256 in scale with?

Hey Ziz! 1/4222 is the ERTL Star Destroyer, my Venator kit and a few little guys from Odyssey Slipways. 1/2256 is the Revell Venator and a lot of other ships by various peeps. I kind of equate it to 1400 and 2500 in the Trek world...

OK, just wondering. I thought the Revell Venator was in scale with the Ertl SD.

Laser cutter all the way. I could do it by hand...at the forfeit of my sanity... :-\
In fact, I've got a few more patterns getting laser-cut soonish....it's a really handy tool for making panels and big triangular shapes.

Been getting more work done on this mofo now that the Gozanti Cruiser is wrapped up. Finished 2 of 4 domes, got some more trench “lip” detailing in, added some armor paneling, finished up the Enforcer variant turrets…all in all coming along nicely. Obviously still working on it though... :8)

'nutha update. Gotta cruise on this... Got some work done on the engine section. Also finished detailing the underside hull…got some more done on the upper hull, too. What else…hmmm…put some Aves on the Bridge so it fits nice and flush with the neck/spine. Still need to get the main hulls and engine plate to fit flush… The engine plate needs some more detailing so ignore any wonkyness. Also still need to detail up the trenches (which is part of the fitting work) and flush out the nose area.

In what kind of material are made the blue parts?

Vinyl. Comes in SUPER handy for paneling, striping, ribbing, etc and scribe guiding.
