1/48 P-47D Rozzie Geth II

I hadn't built an airplane in decades, I do love the Thunderbolt though, This is the Tamiya variety which is an amazing kit. I used Zotz decals to model Rozzie Geth II. My static grass applicatior was giving me fits and nearly electrocuted me in the grass process, so it's kinda flat. The idea was to have the plane and pilot in somewhat tallish grass. It came out okay I guess. I used Eduard cockpit photoetch and detailing set. I painted the invasion stripes and that was a meticulously slow masking process but the result was worth it.
