I've been working on this today. I finally got a hose for my Airbrush I got last Christmas and I used this for my test run to get used to it. I had done airbrush work years and years ago on T-shirts but this was the first time trying one on a model. Goodbye being a slave to rattle-cans and what limited colors I could find!

Had some problems getting pictures though. Without the flash, everything seemed to muted and monotone. With the flash, everything was way too contrasted and certain and did not mix well. I try again tomorrow with some outside shots. In person its somewhere in between. But for now

And for a sense of size compared to other 1/72 stuff

( I need a different color shelf now, or this just disappears almost)

Still have some touch-ups I'd like to do (especially after seeing it up close in these pictures), but I have to let some of the oil wash dry first.

It is a great little model. Casting quality was excellent. This is an out of the box build except for replacing the side gun barrels and the hand rails with brass wire and tubing (I still have to replace the right side barrles as you can see the on is drooping). For those rivet counters, its not totally accurate in a few spots once you start comparing it to the studio model. Mostly just surface detail. Still it close enough for me.

One day when I have money to spare I think I might pick up another one to do in the Clone Wars color scheme.

Here's some better pictures (I think?). I notice now in this light that my primer got pitted looking in some spots. That's what I get for using old primer that's at the end of the can. I should have taken some pictures then before I painted the rest so I could have sanded it smoother. You don't really notice it in person with indoor lighting.

Nice kit and great job on the weathering. Also, nice collection of Star wars models. That AT - Walker is massive for 1/72 scale.

It's a resin kit isn't it ?
What company ?

Good job on that. Excellent paintjob :D

thanks for the feedback!

It's probably more like 1/65 to 1/70, but it's close enough for me
