This one is definitely a quick out of box build. The only addition is the pilot and maybe a metal pitot…haven’t decided on that one yet. No missiles or pylons will be added and she’ll be painted in the factory-fresh yellow scheme. It will be a nice chance to test my painting and filtering abilities. :) I just wish kit manufacturers would start adding CLOSED gear bay doors to their sprues….more specifically ones that FIT. Fuckers.

Finished the pit, added the bits and masked. Also decided to fill the landing gear bays a bit better. Some intense sanding to come.

I just went ahead and slapped on some thin layers of Tamiya Yellow-Green. You can see it looks totally different under different lighting conditions. Now I’ll build it up in layers with some drops of white…hopefully that will make it a bit more consistent…

Went back in and did some post shading with the same color with some added drops of white. Looking much better! I’m still figuring out the best light for this photobooth…my camera isn’t the greatest pairing with a photo booth but I think the final shots will really showcase the paintwork on this build.
