Hello All,
The kit is the Zarkus 1/72 YT-2400 Outrider. It was a fantastic kit with moderate cleanup and some warp. I wanted to do something different with it. So, I decided to create a Republic version. I added lots of detail over the haul of the ship, changed the configuration of the guns and added jedi pilots.
I got the inspiration of the color scheme from the PC game The Old Republic's Corellian Defender-class Light Corvette.

The lighting system is made up of two circuits. The first runs the 10 blue LEDs for the engine glow. The second runs the headlights and the fiber optic running to to cockpit for the instrument panels. Both switches and batteries are accessible via the removable engine grill, which is secured with magnets.
I have taken a variety of pictures, in different environments with different camera settings to try and capture the detail and the added lighting. Unfortunately, due to the cockpit layout I cannot get a decent shot of the fiber I ran in there. But, ce la vie.
Thank-you,
Daniel Bennett
