Just joined and want to share my addiction. I've built and sold countless 1/69 Brodeen Nautilus subs and recently, a Custom Replicas 1/32 version, 66"

A little background about the Custom Replicas 1/32 Nautilus.
I indirectly bought the boat from another builder who started her for R/C.
He had split the hull closer to the waterline, fused the lower hull portions and added cross bracing. He also chose to replace the 19,000 some odd rivets on the boat with scale RR rivets and had completed roughly 2/3rds of the starboard upper hull. There were mismatched parts from various versions of the boat which made for lots of time consuming refitting.
First 3 weeks were spent finishing the riveting on the starboard and deck.
The rear port side had been sanded smooth and required relocating the rivet pattern for a good portion of the rear quarter.
Was able to secure custom CNC grates from the previous owner and wheel house grating from Jim Key at CR.
Have build pics and will post more info if anyone is interested.
