They're based on the characters from the HBO show Rome. Not sure if I'm going to do them as a single diorama, or as two separate figures. But, I'm going to log them both here and if I do them as two figures I'll enter them at the end separately. But I'm gonna build log them here. I don't have them yet.

I wanted to do something neat from Industria Mechanika but, I don't have the time at the moment to get into something that epic. Plus, if I did the 1:1 goblin I'd feel like I'm just copying Michael at the moment. So, gotta wait a bit on that one. Anyway, here's some promo photos from the Andrea site so you can at least see what they are.

I tried to edit your image links but still no dice... The links are simply broken or pointing to an image that isn't available.

Fixed. Apparently you can't direct link images on Dropbox anymore. Moved to another service… Internet, lé sigh…

If the USPS is nice, I should have both of these in time to start over Easter weekend. That'd be super fantastic.

Finally, they have arrived!

Will get some better close up shots in a bit when I'm not working. The detail is really nice. Mould lines aren't bad. Won't know about the likeness to the actors until paint hits it. They don't look accurate with the shininess of the pewter, but, that's expected.

Can't wait to finally join in the modelling fun.

Better(ish) close up photos. Started cleaning up mould lines. Probably won't do anything else until the weekend.

One more.

- Legionary top and bottom held in place after having cleaned the joint. Not sure how I feel about that gap. Might have to green stuff it. Also, his neck looks extra long but I may be crazy.

Primed. Now you can see all the detail… and the bits I now need to clean up again.

â€" They definitely need to make new moulds for this one. The mail doesn't have much detail through the front anymore. Don't think I can fix that. Doesn't look to bad when you're viewing it from a normal viewing distance, but up close it looks pretty craptastic.

The remaining clean up isn't actually that bad. Just missed a few mould lines. Won't be sticking anything together until it's all painted. Anyway, no real work done yet, but, thanks for looking.
