Hey guys i know there are a lot of forums already about this but I need a Air Brush booth. I Know there are a lot of ways to build them myself but lets say i just wanted to buy one for the time being and make a better one later, once space allows for it. I needed something under 300 that can fit onto my office desk. I Saw the artograph 1520 on ebay and also the mr. super booth from HLJ.com. Any thoughts on those or others? THANKS!!

While I don't know anything about the commercial spray booths, I did build on myself.

The Passche booth is pretty popular. Don't forget to check into it. I think they come in small sizes too.

In terms of hobby spray booths, I've spent more than too much time researching them. Only ones I would consider spending money on would be the ArtoGraph 1530 or the Passche HSSB-2216. Lowest I've seen he ArtoGraph is about $340. If you get one you will never make build your own because its pretty much perfect (except for the price). The Paasche I've seen for as low as $200. Design wise not as good as the ArtoGraph but most functional nontheless.

I'd steer clear of the Mr. Booth (which is not a booth at all!), the Black Hole, and most others of that ilk.

I've got the Paasche 2216. Works fine for any airbrushing, but it won't work as well for rattle-cans. I find that you need to spray a short burst, then allow any dust/fumes to clear up ( about 5-10 sec) before spraying another burst.

I use rattle can in that monstrous spray booth I built a couple of years go. I almost never have fumes get out. But I still prefer to use it outside. I think it is just better done there.
