Hi all,im new here,i have been painting 28mm figures for years mostly american civil war but recently have started painting some bolt action ww2 and really enjoying,i recently built a tamiya 1/48 stug and liked it a lot but had to get a friend to paint it as i have no airbrush,i want to buld more tanks so i am thinking of investing in an airbrush but to be honest it scares the hell out of me all that cleaning and thinning of paints so any advice would be great i am looking at an iwata neo

Some airbrushes are easier to clean than others. Harder & Steenbeck ones are a breeze to clean.

As far as thinning paint, it isn't really that hard, however if you have a real fear, you can always buy something like Vallejo Model Air, which is already pre-thinned for airbrushing, just drop it in and go.

As with any skill, practice, practice, practice, is the only way you will learn to conquer your fears.

"People fear what they don't understand" Didn't Marone say that in Batman Begins. Have no fear son. Take the leap, you'll be glad you did.

You won't regret it. Or you may if you get hooked and start buying a ton of them ;D
