airbrushing for beginners

So I just got an airbrush today and was wondering if anyone has suggestions of some good exercises to practice before trying to take on a model, its a patriot 105 by badger and it is a dual action, any pointers or tips would be much appreciated

Start with painting lines, curves, dots etc... the Patriot is a great brush.
