I am looking to start doing Aircraft from both World Wars. What manufactures do you guys recomend ? Ive found the following companies that manufacturer alot of the planes Im interested in building.

Academy
Accurate Miniatures
Airfix
AMT
Arii
Aeromaster
Dragon Models
Eagle Strike
Hasegawa
Hobby Boss
Heller
ICM
Italeri
Lindberg
Revell of Germany
Revell Monogram
Squadron Signal
Tamiya (So far my choice from what Ive read, barring any good reviews from other companies from you guys)
Testors
Trumpeter
Verlinden

Looking for your input for different points of views on who manufacturers the best kit. Is a newbie to Aircraft so easiest fit would be better. Im a rookie at every aspect of putting a model aircraft together that exists lol. Thanks in advance.

There are others as well... A few new companies come to mind, SWS and Great Wall Hobby.

Check out one of my favorite websites www.cybermodeler.com
They have a great and ever expanding database of aircrafts, kits, aftermarket, decals and references, also listing other subjects as well.

For WW I subjects don't forget about;

Roden
Eduard
Wingnut Wings

Both Roden and Eduard also have some good WW 2 and modern subjects as well.

You're thinking is backwards. It depends entirely on the kit and scale. Everybody has aces, and everybody has stinkers. Name plane or the kit and scale, and we'll let you know the best bang for the buck.

I guess the scale would be 1:32 and the plane is a P-51 Mustang used by the USA in World War II.

There are many companies that make 1/32 P-51s....

Dragon, Hasegawa, Trumpeter, etc....

But hands down the best on the market would be the Tamiya one.

You have the top of the line best of the best two...

Zoeki Maru

Tamiya

http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/60322mustang/index.htm

Then there is the next bestest in various boxings and variations from the past.

DML/Dragon

Hobbycraft

Hasegawa

Revell

And I'm sure I am forgetting a few. Now depending on what you're looking for, namely what you want to spend, keep an eye out for model shows, Ebay, and forum for sale sections for bargains. Or hit up Elm City Hobbies for one. 8)

Tamiya has stiff competion for that blanket title now.

Maybe so, but the Zoukeimura kit is only available via their website, and is likely more kit than most people can, or would want to handle.

Meanwhile the Tamiya kit is available everywhere, and pretty much falls together.

I have the Zoeki Maru P51 and it IS the best P51 I have seen in kit form . Its not just available from their site . www.albionalloys.co.uk are the main importers for the UK ,but they can also tell you who else will be supplying the kit if you ask them ;)

Does adding more than one question mark somehow make your post that much more urgent?
I dont know

what do you think ?????????????????????????????? :p

Personaly for a 1/32 P-51 i would go the ZM way. Having sayd that you can pick up a Hasegawa or Dragon kit witch are pretty good for a hefty 25$ in most forums buy&sell ive built one hasegawa and its a pretty strait foward kit.
