OMG! Where do you find fire truck model kits this is awesome. As a fire fighter I would love to combine the things I love

I got his where I work, a bargain outlet called Ollie's. Cost was about $10. I've gotten quite a few models there.

Been a bit since my last, so here is the progress so far. The glass is in the wheels together and the paint applied mostly. Its been slow I recently got a promotion and it is eating into the free time I was enjoying, but I do enjoy the work.

Got the cab finished other than decals and got more of the pumper section put together and painted. I am on the final assembly steps before decals and there are a lot of small parts to put on. I am hoping that I will have it finished by Tuesday or Wednesday, but probably next week.

Decals applied and finished. just waiting for final assembly. Then I'm going to finish the confederate artillery.

Whoops. Made a mistake while building it. I put the seats to close to the inner edge and had to cut and file them back to fit. I filled the resulting gaps with milliput which after it dries I'll touch up the paint and clear coat it and then finish the final assembly

It is complete. I just finished it today.

Did it come with 2 1/2" or 5" hose for the rear?

It did. It came in one lenth and you have to cut it.

That looks fantastic! I really like all the perfect bright shiny chrome, it looks like the fire station crew just finished cleaning it up. A dirty weathered fire engine would just be wrong!
