What a difference 50 years has made to the art of modelling!

No longer is it me and the box contents but the entire planet of modellers on the other side of my finger tips.

And such a wealth of knowledge and help too I can see.

Well here in Shropshire I am amassing a stack of kit - oops sorry stash. I wish to revisit my youth and have another go at WWI aircraft in 1/48 scale. I think I have 60+ boxes and a worrying addiction to this "stash thing".

Heaven knows where the built kits will go?

Anyway, here's the latest daft thing I've done. I've got my hands on a TRUMPETER WELLINGTON MK.I C Model Kit 1/48 scale # 02808 ..... BUT I do not have any instructions!!

Anyone out there able to assist? I'll take valium.

Hugh ( or Shuggie as they say, back in my homeland, Scotland )

Hello Shuggie and welcome to SMA from a fellow styrene junkie, or Scale Model Addict, way over here in western Canada.
That missing instructions thing seems to be happening more and more lately but thanks to the 'net they can usually be found out there somewhere. I don't know how to post links but I entered the following Trumpeter 1/48 Wellington #02808 instructions and I found one titled Instruction Archives that has a downloadable pdf file that has what you're looking for. If that won't work try www.swannysmodels.com/instructions/instructions.html

I had a long winded response touching on my first effort a 109, then a DUKW for my local club spring competition etc etc but the attempt to post it failed and I lost all the text.
