Thanks guys! I thought I over did the chipping, at least the color I used for the chipping (Flat Aluminum XF-10). It comes out really bright. Any suggestions on a less brighter color effect when chipping? I used Light grey but that was too dull.

I'm looking for a color I can airbrush in. The next plane I'm gonna do (Another Corsair but 1/48) I'm going to try to hairspray chip technique the whole plane.

Overdone? Definatley not - I like it very much and it looks very realistic!

I'm either using a GUNDAM marker pen for chipping or Iron 91 from Revell.

A friend of mine uses Citadell game colors and he is very satisfied with it, too.

I won't be able to use a marker for the technique but isn't those gundam markers put out the same shin as the aluminum would?

I got lots of Citadel game colors but putting them through and airbrush is tricky. I guess I stick with the flat aluminum. I did get Vallejo Silver from ECH so I'll see how bright that is when I get it.
