... give you all a break from my current Italian obsession!

This is from my 'pre-weathering' and 'retirement' days, a little project fit into a very busy work and homelife!

Must have been exhilarating, if not terrifying to zoom along the few, and completely exposed 'mettled' roads in Libya, entrusted with communiqués too sensitive for radio transmission.

... never mind the threat of a sudden sandstorm, or having to venture into a wadi to avoid detection.

No doubt this guy is mapping out his itinerary as he loads the saddle bags onto his steed.

Everything in order, hopefully Tamiya's omission (and my reluctance at that point to build one myself) of any sort of early or tank mounted air filter won't stop him from reaching his destination...

I took pity on him, so I added brake cables, springs for the saddle and a fire extinguisher.
I kept the BSA badge, call it artistic license
