   Of course one of the things you are going to have to consider going into this is, the consistency of the paints.

Some thicker, some thinner.

  I try to pre-thin all my paint before I start to mix.

XF-1 Flat Black Tamiya, which I use, is an extremely dense color. I've ruined more paint mixes with that color than I care to mention.

  Your perception of color will be different from mine. Your monitor, lighting, blah, blah, blah.
