Did this P40 abouth three months ago over a weekend off

1/72nd scale. Nice kit. Was the 1st weekend off in a month.

Nice finish! Can you tell us some more about your build? Is this the Academy kit?

Academy kit. Replace floor with balsa over styrene. used baking soda on exaust ports then aged with a mix of red/brown and at the ends bluewash over brown. Sanded it then primed then sanded again with 1200 grit pad. Used a rattle can of medium green with a dark green filter but only used 1 wash. Preshaded control surfaces,ammo covers. Seat belts from wine foil and for the headreast used miliput. The decals are old and a few more months and it would have been into the trash. 1 bad spot just behind the oil cooler intake that is visible. Tried to squeeze to much into 2 days but time is a commodity these days. Next time off is at Thankgiving..Have a 69' Motion Camaro i want to finish that's 80% done for over 2 years....
