DML King Tiger

[FourForty]

This is my first Armor build. I am doing a King Tiger by Dragon Models. Here are the progress pics.

The Kit

I first applied primer using, Tamiya's Surface Primer then broke out the airbrush and laid down some shadowing using Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black.












Next did a layer of Tamiya Dark Yellow (It is hard to see the Shadowing effect in the pics, but it's there)















I then I laid down a few more shadow lines with the semi-gloss black, then added some Tamiya White to the Dark Yellow to do the highlights.














Next I am going to brush on some highlights with Valejo Paints then do the Camo Pattern with the AirBrush. More pics to follow.
