Droid Tri-Fighter 1/72

This is from the Titanium Series. I made several mods to it. I believe its 1/72. If not its pretty close

Here is the original as it is out of the package. They made no attempt to cover up or hide the screws.


I disassembled it and cut out the ridges around the inside and the bracing near the engines using a jewelers saw



The rubber like guns look way out of scale to me, so it was time to make new ones



The inside ball looked odd compared to the reference pics I was using I tried to shape it better, but it came out a little rough when examined closely, but it looks fine from normal viewing distance


Test painted one side to check the color scheme


And then after several months of forgetting about it, I finally finished it

Man, that is very nice. I love how great it is to modify Star Wars toys.
