Thats some great work, always did like the Excelsior class ships. What scale is that just out of interest?

I never realized that Star Trek ships had this Aztec pattern until i started researching Star Trek models, it must be a nightmare masking that off.....i salute your patience. 8)

I believe it's 1:1000, I'm not sure tho, it is the 18" long version. I cant take credit for painting the azteking, I used decals, but for some reason I don't think it was any fast than painting it, just easier to maintain the same amount of paneling thru the ship.

The decals were frustrating at times, and it took a bit of "know how" to get around certain situations. but yes, totally worth the price. However, I'd wait a while and see if they release a set for the round 2 release. I had to modify the decals for the lower saucer section and couldn't use the one for around the sensor dome.
