Fine Molds Millennium Falcon 1/72

Hi all!
I've been a very long time lurker and this is my first post.

I would like to share my MF build with you guy's.
Nothing fancy or heavily customized, but I hope you like it anyway.

As always, opening the box and think twice about starting it. 900 pieces...!!



Started on the escape pods and legs.. but in the end I didn't used the legs..



Ordered the usual PE parts and LED tape for the engine!!




First up, the cockpit

Finally back and continued the work!

Started to weather it.
I'm not really comfortable with that, always afraid of over doing it or making it look really bad...
Some photo's a bit over lighted/exposed I see now...

Amazing job!

I'm starting work on my FMMF and I find the figures of Ham et al. to be kind of clunky. Does anyone know of any 1/72 Star Wars figures that could replace he kit versions? I did a search but didn't come up with anything.

I got some of these and they were perfect for the AMT falcon. I am not sure if they are 1/72 but they are close

would they do for amt's cutaway falcon as well?

Cutaway's almost the same model, in many aspects. Definitely the same scale
