Hi all!
I've been a very long time lurker and this is my first post.
I would like to share my MF build with you guy's.
Nothing fancy or heavily customized, but I hope you like it anyway.
As always, opening the box and think twice about starting it. 900 pieces...!!
Started on the escape pods and legs.. but in the end I didn't used the legs..
Ordered the usual PE parts and LED tape for the engine!!
First up, the cockpit
looking good
Before photo
and after
Don't forget the crew
another lighting test
Nav lights on the escape pods
Ofcourse the gunners should have some lightings
testing the tape! (tron blue)
Ofcourse the headlights should be there as well. (but not so brights that it lights up my wall)
Back to the cockpit
Some lights below
the inside before closing
Connection points for the power and custom stand.
Adding some extra details!
prime it
testing the stand
First pre shading
Mixing the prime color of the hull
sweet
Decided NOT to use the decals but paintbrush it!!
Using the salt technique for chipping
And first layer of gloss before weathering
That where I'm now.. to be continued.
