First attempt at scratch building - Panther Chassis

Hi Guys,

With three weeks passed since payday, my monthly modelling budget is already well and truly busted, it's at this time (typically) I got the itch to start something new. since I had no expendable cash, but plenty left over 0.75mm sheet plastic I decided to try my hand at scratch building for the first time.

Here are my results;











She's not perfect by any means, but I'm really quite pleased with the outcome, and the inaccuracies will be well and truly hidden when I bury this thing beneath the collapsed wall of a Berlin factory.

I'm glad you like it. I've been looking for a Miniart base I can incorporate the chassis into, but I may just buy the factory staircase and scratch build the building too. oh the possibilities!

In the meantime, I started scratching a Stug III which I'll post pics of as I make more progress. (possibly tonight)
