some of the Soldiers are larger than 1:35 scale and ive no idea what they can be because they aint much bigger.

does any one know if its possible to stip the paint from them with out melting them, they woulda been painted with Tamiya paints

GOLD! Pure GOLD!

I've had very good success striping Tamiya paint with Easy Off Oven Cleaner. Make sure you're in a very well ventilated area...ie outside. Stuff is like breathing dragons and daggars.

Spray some in a ziplock until you cover the figure and let it sit for a while. Check in say 15 minutes and then rub the figure (still in the sealed bag of course). You'll rub off most of the paint. Once most is gone and the rest is soft get it under some water, get rid of the easyoff (i just filled the bag to overflow and held my breath). A toothpick should do the trick to get rid of any left over paint in tight spots.

Worked for me many times.

A bit bigger than 1/35 sounds like 1/32...aircraft.

Could be 1/24 or 1/25...cars. Not the movie.

ya its Gold alright :)

as for the easy off i dont think i can get that brand in ireland. thanks for the tip Scott on it ill have a look and see what i can find.

And I thought I was the only one with unusually large amounts of figures!

If you dont have Easy Off, I know alot of people like to use automotive brake fluid to strip paint. It doesnt hurt the plastic. It should work for enamels and acrylics, but I forget at the moment. Either that or some acetone should work

oh acitone i can get. been years since i used that stuff.

thanks redraider

not heard of that one but if i come across it ill try it
