Hello! I got back into scale modelling about 10 years ago, I'm 60 now, and I've really been having fun. I don't rush it, or strive for perfection, and I bounce between several projects at a time, but I sure do enjoy just building something. I build just about anything, but my heart mostly lays with aircraft which is what I started on as a kid. My dad worked in aerospace and got me hooked. I also served 14 years in the USAF in aircraft maintenance. I prefer the older kits from the 70s, nostalgia, I guess. I look forward to sharing with you and seeing all your work.

Welcome to the Herd, Tommergun! I look forward to seeing your builds.

Best regards,
Brad

Hi and welcome to the forum. Pantherman

I also served 14 years in the USAF in aircraft maintenance.
Oh Boy! I'm not building planes, but been following discussions closely around weathering.
It will be great to get the perspective of someone with your experience!

Howdy Tom, welcome to the Addicts! Got a few prior wingy-dingy mechs here, I'm prior AF 462. Like you I'm never in a rush either and hate deadlines, cause that would be like having a job:(

Have fun! Cheers, Ski.

Welcome!!!!!!! Many great people here, post pictures of your builds as you go, we like to see.
