Hairspray, selective use.

If anyone is interested I thought I'd just show how use hairspray for applying weathering or rust.
It might help some folks ?

Using this wheel as an example...



I decant a little hairspray into a pot. Then using a brush , apply where I want to create my effect.


Then using a cheap blade I scrape and flick my chosen pastel on to the surface. Making sure to hit all the sticky bits.




Now blow off the extra powder of your choice...


At this point it looks harsh and overdone. So I use a brush to blend and diffuse it.


And get the affect I want.
