Hello from Japan

I have just begun modelling as a pastime. I am recently retired and was searching for something new I can enjoy and learn from. Japan is a great place for modelling, but non-Japanese kits can be expensive.

Initially, I started in the hobby to build Moto GP bikes, but my skills are not yet up to the level required. So I am building ships and planes for now to get some experience. If I see a kit that I find interesting I will pick it up regardless of the subject. For now I have a little bit of everything and I'm adding to my collection regularly.

It interesting you say that non-Japanese kits are expensive. Many of us are fans of Japanese kits, such as Bandai, and we pay high prices here in North America for them.
