How much should I charge?

Hi! I'm new here to the forums and wanted to get advice. Someone has asked me to build a Tamiya Char B1 all the way to final weathering and I am interested but I have no idea what to ask for in terms of payment/supplies. etc. Up to a couple of months ago I've just made models for myself but in October I started selling my crusty old builds on eBay to clean out the house. I've gotten some requests to build models but I just don't have any experience with that. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks! ^D

I was once told by someone that builds kits for other people for a living, you take the cost of the kit, and multiply it by 20 to get your "built" price.

No keep in mind he has been doing this for many years, and is a phenomenal modeler, so he can command those prices, but even so, with the amount of time to build, paint and weather and the materials used....still not making a huge chunk of money from it.

Just all comes down to what you think your time is worth.
