i truly look up to this guy, beacuse he survived the war in the worst possible way! he was a Tail gunner in a B-26 Marauder, his plane was shot down over Germany by flak and he was captured and sent to a concentration camp! he survived, another guy who ironically flew in a B-26 the father of a very good friend of mine, who lived in the same town, met up with him, and described him as skin and bones!
i truly look up to Lue, and badly want to make a 1/48th scale B-26 Marauder in his honer.. and eventually, to thank him, that's what i will probably do, is make a replica of the plane he served with most.

First im doing a hellcat, then i plan to do the B-26, im sure i can find one somewhere...
That's a great story Ace! Hope you get the B-26 put together for him, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
