Issue with Monogram's F-5 Tiger II

Working on this wonderful gem of a model and this is the old Monogram version! I did run into a couple of issues.
first, due to the lack of detail with the instructions. What color should the gear and wheel wells be? I've seen silver for the gear, but what about the wheel wells? I am still looking online, but I know people have some version of this kit that may detail the color it should be.

Second, it looks like there was an issue with one of the bombs and... well, take a look at the picture. Any help would be appreciated.



I am thinking I may need to either use putty or if I can get a hold of some styrene sheet before the deadline is done.

Definitely looks like a short shot on the fins. I would just glue a piece of styrene into the notch and sand to fit.

Wheel wells and gear would be flat white.
