Thanks Adam, Scott, Chris, Q, cargoman and John. I really appreciate the positive comments guys, helps me to keep these builds rolling. 

Quick update (I'm sick of marking exams tonight   ). Still fighting with the Me 262 wings. Glued 'em but good, we'll see how they look tomorrow.

Yesterday I clamped the joint under the fuselage.

Today, I shimmed and taped the wings to minimize the wing root seam problems.

After that I'll have to shim and close the wing roots. I might leave them loose until I can fit the engine nacelles - I have a feeling that my mods to the wings may cause some impending fit problems further down the line.

In the mean time I've also started building the launching trolly the Me 262 would sit on top of. Here I've added ballast to keep this build from being a tail dragger.
