JU-52 1/48 by Revell

There might have been some bad mold marks, but if you can build a model with no filler, that is a rare model. Nice work so far!!

Certainly is a big model, i have one waiting for me to attack it, as soon as I figure out where I'm going to keep the completed model :)

Re your points about ejector pin marks and such i think it's worthwhile pointing out that this is a Massive kit with a very low price tag, (about £25 - £30) and for the money I think the detail is stunning, imagine if this were Tamiya e.g. and the price accordingly!I'd say you could double if not triple the asking price as is.
Theres not one bit of flash on mine and having read a couple of build reviews in magazines the general consensus is positive on fit and build. Neither one using any filler on seams.
Look forward to seeing more of this one.

Not a kit Id normally give a second glance at but that is actually quite detailed. Of course the model is only as nice as the model builder can make it, and your doing a wonderful job at it.

Thank' for that i am try my best but i am not up to your standed yet i like your USMC LAV-AT "Operation Desert Storm".

I going to try the Dragon 1/35 3536 M1A2 SEP i have order it.

Thank you. Looking forward to the Abrams then, I have an M1A2 AIM in the stash now gaining momentum in the "To Build" pile, and I hear I have another one headed my way as a gift, looking forward to the rest of this build and the AFVs too.

sorry for butting in!!

Mademodeller, Cool you also building a Sep and LAV_AT? I will be looking forward to it!!!

Hi Carsenuault, M1A2 AIM?

cheers!!!

I was just thinking of the work I've done today So I thought I would pull up a couple of pictures to show you.
As you can see in the two photos it's come out near perfect much better than were I had taken the time to make templates and try to get a good edge but today I just slept on a couple of old templates and sprayed the red from a car spray can and this is the result.

Would you credit it all that time I spent try to get a good edge and I just couldn't do it.
I also did the top of the main body which did have a sore tooth edge near the cockpit end but I'm not gonna worry about that.
Next I'm gonna leave it a couple of days to harden off the paint I've then got are a couple of touch ups to do on the red I've also need to do the white frames around the windows and black bands around the engines and the nose then I can get on with finishing this one off.
