Hello, getting into the hobby after many years (decades?) off. Threw some kits together as a teen, bought my son a few a couple of years ago, found he had no real interest, so I started in on it. Built a few kits, each one a little better than the last, before the wife demanded the kitchen table back.....moving into a new house in about a month, will finally have my own space. Looking to go all in, airbrush, quality tools, etc. mostly into 1-48 aircraft, from the pre-Vietnam era. Especially like WWII heavy aircraft, and first gen jets through Korea. Might dabble in some ships too, though I like larger scales, so probably limit it to PT/PBR and the like at first.

Totally new at this, but have a background in aviation (c-130 Loadmaster) and Railroad (locomotive engineer) so if you have any prototype questions regarding either, I would be glad to help. Looking forward to learning, and getting started after the move!
