Thanks so much for your compliments. FYI, I used liquid rubber masking material laid on top of a vallejo's extreme metal paint dark aluminum. I diluted it and painted it out with a brush selectively and carefully and then I painted with the RAF dark green over the masking material. When finished I took a pencil eraser and gently rubbed off the paint to expose the chip in and then used 1,000 and 2000 grit wet sandpaper to sand down the paint and chipping to make it look old and smooth. It was my first time doing this as I learned it from another blog site from an excellent modeler from Canada. Seem to work out and I plan to use it on my p47 build and I'm currently doing .
