Kitty Hawk 1/48 UH1-Y Venom

This was actually for a group build elsewhere. LOL

Next on my copter list a UH1-N in the colors for the 1st Helicopter Squadron USAF. That was my dads squadron. I plan on doing 3 different copters covering their history. HH-21, CH-3 and the Huey. So I would be all in if that one is on the list. :)
 
Great job on this. I have a Huey in my stash. I might have to do this one soon. I really enjoyed building the Sikorsky CH-53.
 
Wow. This is an expensive kit. Won't be able to get this one for a while.
 
It's not likely to get cheaper. Kitty Hawk is out of business, and no one has grabbed their molds yet. Not sure why. So the only ones out there are pricey.

Ya did it, ya forced me into looking for a Cobra kit more seriously....
 
Okay, I ordered one off eBay. I ordered the 167 decal variant. I might get it by Christmas. Coming from China :rolleyes:
