KV-1 - Anastasiya

Hello HERD,

Decided to work on a little project today. I grabbed this Trumpeter Russian KV-1 off the shelf. Thought it would make a nice filler kit whilst I work on a couple of other builds.

The Kit:



In the front there is the Aber fenders for the KV-1 & 2.



Grabbed these from a show last year. With the exception of the PE fenders, this build should be mostly OOB.

Moving forward:





Removed some weld beads that didn't look quite right and will be cleaning some other parts up later tonight.

Looks like a really interesting kit, will follow this for sure.

Just looking at the box art again and i'm wondering what that tank with the huge turret is called? I always thought that would be an interesting tank to make......oh oh i feel the urge to spend money i dont have taking me over again!!! lol

I'm not that familiar with the kits, but If I was to pick one, I'd pick the Trumpiter kit.

I too would go with Trumpy's release. Here's a cool site that is very Reliable it's run by Terry Ashley ... all He does is reviews. He pulls no punches & is World Renouned !!

lol ya i was looking at them the other day and i knew it was a typo, one of them would be an early or later model. just like tigers there is lots of difernt variations on them same goes for just about any tank,
