Meng HMS HOOD toon

@GCB and @Calico Jack , have done due diligence in response, and as best as I can ascertain, Royal Navy eschewed painting the name on the hull, rather they used pennant numbering system to identify ships.
In the case of Hood, as a battle cruiser there would not have been a prefix letter, only her number, 51.
So stay tuned as I need to add vertical stays to fly the two pennants, '5' & '1'

@PatW , thanks for your enthusiastic approval.

It means a lot, because as I dug into the history of the pride of the Royal Navy, and her tragic sinking, I worried that perhaps a 'Toon' might be offensive to some.
That's when I decided to go ahead, and give it my best shot, with proper care and a few extra details, as my show of respect for the Navy in which she served, the grand ship herself, and the men who lost their lives in the service of their country.

Cheers,
Brian
