Merseajohn's 1/72 Resin Cloud Car

Hey guys, I'm trying to fit a sneaky build in before Oct 1st. A lovley cast 1/72 cloud car by Retro Sci Fi.
Not much to say as yet apart from its an expertly cast resin kit and seems screen accurate and VERY tiny! Heres the pics enjoy.


Really small canopy, had to be sooooo carefull with this as it is very brittle.

I have the Micro Machines Action Fleet Cloud Car around here somewhere. About the same scale. Tiny.

This will be a neat one to have in your shelf. Can't wait to see you finish her and how it will look next to the Falcon and other larger 1.72 ships.

Very Cool lookin lil' Ship ! What color Orange are you thinkin of shootin' ? Any figures in this ? Would 1/72nd scale pilots fit ?

Lol Eric! Yeah it comes with 2 little neat 1/72 pilots with huge helmets like in the film
And I'm sticking with the orange and brown colour scheme also seen in Empire. thinking a coat of NATO brown, then hull red on a few areas then a shade of red and highlighted areas with orange descreatly? Dunno yet but ofcourse there will be plenty of pics!

Ok got the pilots down!
Primed:
Painted Using a varioty of Vallejo paints, stone grey 50/50 with deep yellow for the helmets and gloves. Red and red Orange for there helmets:

Put small brass tubes in for guns (to make it accurate) and filled in the inside cannons/guns:

Primed and ready for paint!:

And maaaan, I looove star wars head-wear fashion. The only problem with the rebel-soldier's, cloud car pilot's and Death Star gunner's hats is that while rain whater would probably flow into your collar ;D
